Project Overview

Structural consulting for the design of the stadium roof, with a particular focus on the timber ring beams. Working alongside AECOM on Zaha Hadid Architects' design, the engagement optimised the sections and deformations of the elements to minimise stresses on the steel structure and refine the choice of sections. A verification of the cable-based roof closure system was also carried out to guarantee the structure's compliance with the project requirements.
